ZapSib-Catering was founded in 2002 to provide catering and a wide range of onboard services for UTair airlines, airports and client airlines. Core external and onboard passenger service support includes providing catering, dishwashing, cabin custodial services, passenger salon amenities, linen supply and laundry services, foodservice supplies and periodicals.

ZapSib Catering maintains full service kitchens in the airport facilities of Surgut, Khanty-Mansisk, Tyumen and Noyabrsk airports and provides in-flight meals for UTair and many other domestic and private airlines as well as servicing airline and airport personnel. Zap-Sib Catering now has the capacity to provide in-flight catering services for passengers of foreign airlines.

UTair also has catering agreements with 30 domestic airport foodservice providers, including Vnukovo Airport and Domodedovo Airport in Moscow as well as airports in Samara, Krasnodar, Anapa, Omsk, Ufa, Kazan, Novosibirsk and other cities. Opening the in-flight catering facilities in the cities of Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk, Tyumen and Noyabrsk has presented Zap-Sib Catering with opportunities to provide high quality in-flight services to passengers of other airlines.

ZapSibCatering caters charter UTair flights for the Tyumen Regional Administration, the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, JSC Surgutgazprom, JSC Surgutneftegaz, JSC Tyumenenergo, for tourist companies and other businesses.

ZapSibCatering caters passengers on third-party airlines, including Kuban and Perm Airlines, and others. In June 2006 ZapSibCatering was certified under ISO international certificate 9001:2000. In March 2007, the company earned HACCP certification DS 3027:2002. Achieving and maintaining these certifications has been an important step for ZapSibCatering in determining their response to client demand as well as improving efficiency in operations.
