MRO

UTair maintenance and repair operations are managed by UTair-Technik established in 2005. The primary focus of UTair-Technik is maintaining the continuous, smooth and safe operation of the UTair fleet and aircraft of other airlines in compliance with global standards.

UTair-Technik is one of the largest integrated aircraft repair and maintenance operators in Russia. UTair-Technik has its main base of operations at Roshino Airport in Tyumen and supporting line stations in Surgut, Moscow and Ufa. Further, UTair subsidiaries UTair-Engineering and UTair-Express Train expand the range of MRO and technical capabilities across Russia. In addition, UTair also offers helicopter maintenance operations in many African countries.

Airport Services

UTair owns and operates six airports, including its own full service hub at Noyabrsk Airport, located 11 km west of Noyabrsk in Yamalo-Nenets autonomous region. UTair regional airports include those in Berezovo and Igrime in the Khanti-Mansisk autonomous region, in Mys Kamenny and Tazovcky in the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous region and in the city of Ust-Kut in the Irkutsk region.

UTair also supports regional aviation from about 40 designated airports, helipads and airstrips in the Tyumen region.

Certification

UTair-Technik’s engineering bases, responsible for aviation engineering support to all the company’s aircraft, are certified for the technical maintenance of the following aircraft: Il-76, An-2, An-12, An-24B, An-24RV, An-26, Tu-154M, Tu-154B, Tu-134, Yak-42, Yak-40, Gulfstream IV-SP, Gulfstream V-SP, Mi-26T, Mi-10, Mi-6, Mi-8, Mi-171, and Mi-2. The bases are equipped with all necessary personnel, equipment and other facilities for the high-quality technical maintenance of planes and helicopters, aircraft engines and onboard electronic equipment as well as hangar facilities.

Airline Catering

ZapSib-Catering was founded in 2002 to provide catering and a wide range of onboard services for UTair airlines, airports and client airlines. Core external and onboard passenger service support includes providing catering, dishwashing, cabin custodial services, passenger cabin amenities, linen supply and laundry services, foodservice supplies and periodicals.

ZapSib Catering maintains full service kitchens in the airport facilities of Surgut, Khanty-Mansisk, Tyumen and Noyabrsk airports and provides in-flight meals for UTair and many other domestic and private airlines as well as servicing airline and airport personnel. Zap-Sib Catering now has the capacity to provide in-flight catering services for passengers of foreign airlines.

UTair also has catering agreements with 30 domestic airport foodservice providers, including Vnukovo Airport and Domodedovo Airport in Moscow as well as airports in Samara, Krasnodar, Anapa, Omsk, Ufa, Kazan, Novosibirsk and other cities.
