7.1.1 Aircraft passengers are subject to mandatory personal accident insurance for the period of air transportation. Mandatory personal insurance against personal injury to aircraft passenger, and for the loss, shortage or damage of baggage and items that a passenger has with him/her, is effected by the Company. 

7.1.2 Mandatory personal insurance of aircraft passengers is done by in the manner and subject to the terms stipulated by the laws and regulations of the Russian Federation, contracts between the Company and an insurer holding a license for this type of mandatory insurance. 

7.1.3 The insurance amount is included into the cost of a passenger ticket and charged during the sale of a transportation document. 

7.1.4 Aircraft passenger who uses his right for a free travel by air in the Russian Federation is subject to mandatory personal accident insurance without payment of any insurance amount. 

7.1.5 The insured amount for each aircraft passenger stipulated by the life and health insurance contract shall be established in the amount not less than one thousand minimum monthly wages specified by the federal law as of the sate of purchase of a passenger ticket. 

7.1.6 The insured amount stipulated by the baggage insurance contract shall be established in the amount not less than two minimum monthly wages specified by the federal law for one kilogram of the baggage weight. The insured amount stipulated by the insurance contract for items that a passenger has with him/her, shall be established in the amount not less than ten minimum monthly wages specified by the federal law. 

For the international flights in case of aircraft passenger liability insurance of the Company, including the loss, shortage or damage of baggage and items that a passenger has with him/her, the insured amount shall be not less than the amount specified by the international agreement of the Russian Federation or laws and regulations of a corresponding foreign state. 

7.1.7 The insured amount under mandatory personal insurance of a passenger in the event of loss occurrence shall be paid regardless of insurance compensation to the insured or their heirs due to the same occurrence or under another basis stipulated by the laws and regulations of the Russian Federation.   

7.1.8 The Company shall make up a statement on each occurrence with an insured passenger during air transportation. The first copy of the statement is handed over to an insured person, his representative or heirs. Upon a request of an insurer in writing a carrier shall provide him with a copy of the above statement within 20 days of such request.

The Company shall effect consigner (cargo owner) insurance for the loss, damage of cargo for the insured amount of not less than two minimum monthly wages established by the federal law as of the date of airway bill issuance, for each kilogram of cargo.
