- What documents are required to carry an under aged child without an accompanying person?
On flights of our Company all infants and children under age of 14 are to be accompanied with adults.
However, in special situations, e.g. your child found himself alone in the airport of another city, the representative office personnel and the Company crew members will take care of the child. We will make all efforts to inform you or your relatives, accompany your child during flight and after arrival to the destination airport we will hand the child over to you or your authorized representative. - Where can I learn about how to transport fishing rods – they are long and I will not be allowed to take them to the passenger compartment. Will I have to send them separately?

- What should I do if I lose my ticket?
The Company can give the passenger a duplicate instead of a lost or spoiled ticket on the passenger’s request. The Company will give a lost ticket duplicate only if it acknowledges that the cause of such loss was valid and authentic.
In this case the sales agent will ask the passenger to present information concerning the lost/spoiled ticket (place, date of buying, etc.)
Besides, the passenger will have to sign a written guarantee obligation to pay the Company its expenses in case a third person will use the sold or spoiled ticket or the Company will have to refund the sum of such ticket to a third person.
In special cases the data verification can take some time. The Company may charge an extra fee for issuing a duplicate. Should the passenger fail to provide the Company with complete and/or satisfying information or should there be no possibility for the Company to check this information, the Company has a right to refuse to issue a duplicate and offer the passenger to buy a new ticket to continue the trip.
Otherwise the Company reserves the right to refuse to transport this passenger.
- Are ticket discounts valid for a 4-year-old child?
Children at the age of 2 – 12 years old have a 50% ticket discount for UTair regular flights. For detailed information about rules and terms of children transportation see section: Children and infants.
- Is it allowed to transport pneumatic weapon in your aircraft?
UTair Aviation allows transportation of weapon, including pneumatic guns. When checking in you should inform the check-in clerk and the Company representative about any weapon you are carrying. You should have documents confirming that you are allowed to keep and carry weapon. Weapon shall be discharged and kept separately from ammunition. At the airport of departure it shall be handed over to an officer in charge responsible for temporary storage during flight (an aviation security officer) and returned to the owner after the flight at the destination airport.
- Do you have discounts for disabled people and accompanying personnel?
From March 03, 2006, till December 31, 2006, UTair domestic flights issue privileged tickets on credit to some passenger categories. A ticket is sold on the basis of an assignment, where the passenger’s name is indicated, issued by the Social Security Fund of the Russian Federation. Assignments for 2005 are not valid for transportation. A separate assignment should be issued for each direction – one way and round trips. Assignments with corrections and assignments with the stamp not corresponding to the currently approved one are not accepted. Period of validity for this assignment is equal to the period of validity of the resort trip ticket (date of checking in and checking out), taking into account the travel time. The booking clerk shall issue a ticket corresponding to the period of the resort trip.
- I would like to know why seat number is not indicated in the ticket.
If you have "ÎÊ" instead of a seat number in your ticket, it means that the sticker system of checking in is used for this flight and tickets are sold without specification of seats. Seat number shall be indicated in your boarding pass. If you wish to sit near the window, in some specific row or have other preferences, you should inform the check-in clerk. We recommend that in this case you should come for checking-in as soon as it begins.
- Can I transport a dog without an accompanying person on your flight and what do I need for this?
UTair Aviation does not transport animals without accompanying personnel.
- Can I use my personal GPS receiver on board your aircraft? Because when you know where you are flying it is much more interesting...
It is prohibited to use such devices on board the aircraft during climbing and descending.
- What is the maximum pregnancy term for women to be allowed on board your aircraft?
We restrict travel for pregnant women beyond the end of the 30th week. Pregnant women can use our flights provided UTair bears no responsibility to the woman for any consequences, which is assured by a guarantee obligation. The guarantee obligation form can be obtained at the Company representative office and filled in at the airport before departure.
