4 February 2020

Utair Airlines takes large-scale comprehensive sanitary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Starting February 1, Utair will perform weekly disinfection of all aircraft on international and domestic flights. Sanitary measures at airports and on-board catering facilities will be strengthened. The airline carries out extra disinfection in rooms where blankets and pillows are stored, and uses a reinforced disinfectant to wash them. Operating hours of bactericidal lamps will be increased and additional sanitization of equipment, dishware, and cutlery will be introduced in production facilities wh ere on-board meals are prepared. The control over food waste disposal will be strengthened on all international flights.

If a potentially infected passenger is detected on board, the aircraft will be sent to a special sanitary parking lot at the airport and a full range of anti-epidemic measures will be carried on board.
